Sir Philip Green named in parliament as man facing harassment claims

Lord Hain, a Labour Peer, has named the retail billionaire Sir Phillip Green as the man facing harassment claims who had taken out a legal injunction to prevent his name being revealed by the press.

The Telegraph ran an article accusing an unnamed businessman of racial and sexual abuse of staff.

Lord Hain is protected by Parliamentary privilege and stated it was his duty to name the perpetrator given the “serious and repeated” nature of the allegations.
